| Course Start | September |
| Languages | English / French |
| Location | Palaiseau Campus |
Description
The Mechanics program is designed for students interested in structural mechanics, environmental sciences, complex fluids, waves and metamaterials, environment and renewable energies. This high selective program is at the intersection of mechanics and other disciplines like physics, chemistry, and applied mathematics.
The first year provides a solid foundation in mechanics, while the second year allows specialization. This highly selective program is closely connected to four cutting-edge research laboratories. This strong integration fosters a seamless link between the fundamental knowledge acquired through coursework and its practical application in research projects conducted within these laboratories.
For students aiming to pursue a PhD after their master’s degree, the program is affiliated with three PhD track programs for early research immersion: one in Advanced Materials, one in Mechanics, and another in Bioengineering and Quantitative Life Sciences. These PhD track programs offer excellence scholarships and registration fee waivers.
